I had a wonderful birthday- which actually began the night before with a wonderful date with Robbie and my parents having the kids sleep over- which was fun but I didn't sleep well not having my babies in my house. I must really love them!! My actual birthday started with breakfast at my parents house- my Moms french toast and my Dads famous hash browns YUM! Oh and of course Raspberry Danish! It was great. Then they headed off to Utah and we snapped a few pictures!
Then we came home and had a fun Birthday parade with LOTS OF PRESENTS! Thank you everyone! It was very fun and the kids were very helpful!
Then we went somewhere very fun! We headed down to the Cape Cod Canal visitors center and enjoyed their free museum. They had tons of fun things to do, including a real boat that you could explore and play in. The kids loved it- as you can see- Robbie did too!
Complete with life jackets!
There were lots of cabinets to explore with things you might typically find on a boat!
There was a fishing game- that included lots of different fish that could be found in the cape cod canal.
There were matching games and lots of educational activities.
After enjoying the museum we threw rocks in the canal and then went for a ride along the picturesque trail. Bennett had fun being able to ride and ride and ride.
Having these two makes everyday feel like my birthday!
The kids loved crossing over the Sagamore bridge and then seeing it from the side of the canal. It was such a beautiful day to be outside and do something different! We will be back to the canal very soon!
